Interest Sensitive Whole Life (ISWL)

Interest Sensitive Whole Life (ISWL) uses the same interest crediting method and risk premium charges as Universal Life. However, with ISWL the premium is fixed and an insured person must consistently pay the original premium amount. After building enough cash value, premiums can be discontinued in many ISWL programs. Discontinuance of premiums is generally done at the carrier's discretion, not at the discretion of the insured.
